Demonstrators
Targeted demonstrators
Three demonstrator scenarios are planned to exercise the Plan4ARI stack across manipulation, disassembly and mobile welding contexts.
Demonstrator scenarios
Warehouse Picking
The warehouse picking demonstrator addresses heterogeneous objects, natural-language commands, semantic grounding, task allocation, scene monitoring and online replanning.
Remanufacturing
The remanufacturing demonstrator focuses on disassembly of mechanical components, flexible human intervention, task and motion planning, force-sensitive interaction, rescheduling, sensing, MPC and neural control.
Ship Welding
The ship welding demonstrator considers mobile manipulators in large ship structures, harsh and cluttered environments, nearby operators, limited permitted deviation from nominal welding paths, safe stop and correct resumption, localisation, sensing fusion and runtime safety.
Module coverage by demonstrator
| Demonstrator | Low-code communication | Sensing and planning | Neural control | Trustworthiness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Warehouse Picking | Natural commands and semantic grounding | Scene monitoring and online replanning | Execution monitoring where needed | Operator clarity and task confidence |
| Remanufacturing | Flexible task specification and rescheduling | Task and motion planning with sensing | Force-sensitive and adaptive execution | Human intervention and workload assessment |
| Ship Welding | Command constraints and worksite context | Localisation, fusion and safe runtime behaviour | Path adherence and controlled resumption | Nearby-operator safety and transparency |
